The MDX-540 is a CNC mini-center with a three-axis milling cutter and works in 3D by removing the material until the finished product.
The MDX-540 is specifically designed for the creation of 3-axis artifacts, objects, and prototypes with very high precision detail. The modeler is designed for design offices, laboratories, technical offices, design studios, print labs, three-dimensional graphics and teaching and technical applications at the technical and university level. Solidly constructed and according to the industrial standards in use, it is equipped with hooks for attaching fasteners, locks or other accessory. The work plane size is 520x420mm and the useful area of 500x400x155mm. If the tool change is installed, the working area is 400x400x155mm. Optionally, a T-slot slot with ZTT-540 slots is also available with the same size as the standard one.
ZS-540TY machining spindle
The MDX-540 three-dimensional modeler is already equipped with the ZS-540TY spindle. The spindle is constructed according to Roland standards, which provide a solid structure that avoids vibration triggering and has a high machining torque that quickly builds up and keeps constant regardless of the machining speed. It is equipped with standard Yukiwa collars for tongs up to 10mm. A wide range of collars available.
Tool change ZAT-540
The MDX-540 includes the installation of a ZAT-540 tool changer that houses four different tools. In this way, machining can be carried out in a totally automatic way, from the wholesale to the finishing stage. The MDX-540 controller will perform the tool change according to the machining process. Tool collars and sprocket attachments are available.
Rotary axis ZCL-540
The ZCL-540 is an optional rotary axis that is installed on the MDX-540 work plane and allows you to work on a 360 ° object by rotating it automatically at the end of each face. The diameter of the workpieces is 180mm and a length of 285mm. The movement is controlled by a precise AC powered motor. The fixing tip has a 100mm latch and is equipped with a tailgate for rear mounting. The 4th axis control is carried out by the skirt.
The control panel is exterior and is made with "handheld" style. Allows complete control of all machining parameters and displays the current processing phases.
The handling system is made with highly controlled servo motors. The feedback control always allows you to get the expected advance. The data management system organizes instructions so that they are processed in the most optimal way, reducing the processing time. The guides are made on ballot balloons dialto level.
